| And for this, I will need to pay them around $60 for the upgrade? Jeez... To make it worse, once you've spent some time working with the new version, making changes, etc., it's usually too late to go back. At least, as a CPA, I may have the chance to get the last laugh here. Thanks for your quick response! "GPBurdell" wrote: - quote - > Yes, I did. | Yes, I did. I called Microsoft and after several discussions with the low level techs in India, I was transferred to a high level support in Nova Scotia. They ID'd that the file was permanently corrupted. They spent several hours on the phone with me and we finally found a workable solution that involved manually installing several upgrades and then repairing the files. My last version was 2004. We manually installed the 2005, 2006 and finally 2007 versions. After each upgrade, we repaired the file. Finally when we got to 2007, the file was no longer corrupted. Actually it was the best customer service that I've ever received from Microsoft. But I only received this service because I bought it myself, not from the OEM. - GPBurdell "DanJ" wrote: - quote - > Hi Gary, > Your problem sounds very similar to mine. | Hi Gary, Your problem sounds very similar to mine. Did you ever get a response from MS on it? Thanks! | I recently upgraded to Money Plus Home & Business and I'm experiencing a problem with the categories. Whenever I try to record a manual deposit, Money blocks the deposit and states that the category has not been designated as being for business or personal. However the category list clearly shows that these transactions are for business. For some reason, the software fails to recognize the nature of the category. Can anyone suggest a fix? -- GPBurdell |
