| I've never had any problems with MS Rebates; just a pain to do them, but i always get them and I always claim them. "Claus DuBois" <Claus DuBois[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:27023FAE-257D-4B63-AF3F-46C393E9BF33[at]microsoft.com... What specifically does the online Money Plus Rebate form say? What are the specific requirements? This question is either a Microsoft rep or for someone who has actually purchased the product form Microsoft and has received the online rebate. In typical trickster fashion, the rebate info that Microsoft allows you to see before buying the product is worthless. It does not tell you specifically what the requiements are for getting the rebate. Call me suspicious, but I would like to know before buying the software, not after. |

| First I'd like to say that Rebate Offers are a pain in the neck. Lots of fine print, gimmicks and unnecessary hoops to jump thru. The upgrade 'offer' from 2005 to the latest and greatest from the poop up in 2005 says and extra $10 off if you upgrade on line. After going thru the process what is finally offered is not an extra bonus but just what everyone else gets, new user or not. At least as near as I can tell up to this point. The rebate information is fairly clear (with the exception of the 'extra'). You can download the form for rebate from the Digital River people who process for Microsoft. Like most rebate offers - BUYER BEWARE, read the fine print. In my opinion, REBATE offers are an inconvienience and often tagged with shell games to maximize coprporate profits from the unsuspecting buyer. In response to your post - the 'specifics' as you request are readily available for the reading on line. Have a look. All the best.
