Default Re: First update for Money 2008 yet?

I have always Downloaded the file to my hard drive. I then Cut a CD with
the downloaded image, and the email message with the key. I then load it
onto my machine directly from the CD to verify the CD is good. I figure
this is as good as the CD that would be purchased in the store. I do not
need the plastic jacket or the box it comes in.

My bet is that the rollout order directly correlates to the profitability of
sales through each channel.

I've been an annual purchaser of Microsoft Money updates since 1995. I
will buy Money Plus when it hits the stores (Costco) and I can install
from a hard disk.

It is interesting to me how Microsoft has chosen to market Money Plus
this year. First available ONLY online via their controlled web site.
Then, a few weeks later also available ONLINE via commercial online
stores. And then (at sometime in the future) available at retail
stores. I wonder if this type of marketing will increase or decrease
distribution of Money Plus. I guess it really doesn't matter. Steve

Nope. Quite a number of Money releases have never had a service update. M05
had one the reverberations of which are still being felt here. You may end
up never using this software if that's your criteria.

Default First update for Money 2008 yet?

I purchased Money Plus Premium already. The deal from costco.com was
too sweet to pass up. I prefer not to install it until Microsoft issues
the first update to this program. Has this occurred yet?
