| Thanks Dick Watson. it is sort of what I was thinking. I am sill having problem downloading Money Deluxe 2008 trial. I am almost afraid to purchase the software having had these issues so early. I cannot even reinstall my previous version of Money (from disk) on my computer. It stays in a not responding state (all night). I did what Cal suggest but with new issues now. I also realize that I would have to work switching users to work in Money and other program I use. Any ideas? | Money Essentials (MEss) cannot use files, backup or otherwise, from the fully featured editions of Money. M+ is quite unlikely to work on Win95. It's not a Vista program for what it's worth, it's just that Win95 is so obsolete almost no current software from anyone will work on it. | Thanks for the help. I tried what you said and was able to download the program. Another issue: A window keeps popping up which states, "This operation cannot be performed". Do you have any idea what that is about. I cannot move forward, with every click of the mouse, the window pops up. Additionally, I was able to download MS Money Essential 2008. Works find but I cannot restore my backup. Am I correct in assuming that my MS Money 2006 Deluxe files are a step ahead i.e. trying to run a Vista program on Windows 95. I feel like I have to start from scratch and I am not happy about that. Any ideas on this one? | I've been using Money 2006 but decided to try Money Deluxe 2007. What a nightmare. I can't get it to download, it stays in a non responsive state forever (Ctrl Atl Del necessary to close). Ihave the disk for Money 2006 and have tried to re-install that version, now I'm having the same issue with my disk. Can anyone advise. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times but nothing seems to be working. |
