| when I got to Quick File Repair, it says it has trouble reading or writing to my file. I had to restore my backup file. Then I proceeded to the settings but the checkbox you mentioned below is already checked. I unchecked and re-checked the box but still same error when I tried to do account update. Still says Update in Progress for my brokerage accounts. In Internet Explorer delete your browser temporary files with Tools-> InternetOptions-> DeleteFiles or Tools-> InternetOptions-> Delete-> DeleteFiles. Then in Money do File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair. Then go to Tools-> Settings-> OnlineServiceSetting and select ShowStandardizedPayeeNamesForWhichANameIsNotFound. This is a global (inter-file) setting. Download again. Any change? |

| For the past 2 days, I have not been able to do account updates. Everytime I try to do online updaye, it says "you cannot perform this operation now. Please complete current task and retry." When I go to Account List, two of my Morgan Stanley brokerage accounts are listed as "update in progress." But it has been like this for 2 days. It still won't let me do online update, even if I uncheck the boxes for the Morgan Stanley accounts. I get the same error above. It is as if the application is waiting for the Morgan Stanley accounts to finish the update before it will let me do online update. I am using Money 2005 with WinXP. I already went thru the software update earlier and everything was working fine until this latest issue. |
