| Cal Learner, THANK YOU; setting the program settings to start money with "ACCOUNT LIST" page open did the trick. My file now opens in less than one minute!!! What a HUGE difference. I'm glad I did not remove all Bills as some of the other responders recommended. Now I can spend my time optimizing money management... | Alternately, you might want to MAKE A COPY of your file and use the File|Repair|Remove Bills or whatever it is they call Nuke The Bills. If that copy is faster, we must discuss. | Recently upgraded from MS Money 2004 to MS Money Plus Deluxe. Is it normal for a 9 MB file to take 20 minutes to open??? My PC is a Compaq Presario running Windows XP Home Edition Ver 2002 Sevice Pack 2 with 2.69 GHz Clock and 504 MB RAM. Note, once the file opens, navigating thru the various screens responds reasonably well. Are there settings I need to change ? Do I need more RAM? Disappointed with the upgrade so far, Mr Wonka |
