Get a refund on the downloaded Essentials. Buy a CD copy of the Deluxe
version from a discount store.

That was one of the first things I tried, but it didn't work. I'm pretty
sure it has to do with a setting of some sort. At least, I hope it does.

When you go to install right click on the .exe and select Run as
Administrator.

BTW why on earth did you buy Essentials? It is about as much use as a
chocolate fireguard and an Excel spreadsheet has more functionality!

Default Can't install Money Essentials

Good People,

I bought and downloaded Money Essentials from the MS website and every time
I click on it to install I get the following error:

"Extracting file failed. It is most likely caused by low memory (low disk
space for swapping file) or corrupted Cabinet file."

Any suggestions? I doubt it's my machine, here are my specs:

HP Computer
Vista Home Premium
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU [at]2.40GhHz
3071 MB of RAM
400 GB HDD

Thanks,

Adrian
