Default Re: Loan Disbursement

There's not a good way to treat the proceeds or funding of a Loan account as
a Transfer in Money, sadly. Read the last paragraph of
http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=86 for one way to fake it. You can also just
deposit the cash in the cash account with no category but a note in the memo
to cross reference what's going on.

Default Loan Disbursement

I have a student loan, so created a Long Term Loan. Now I want to track
disbursements from that loan and expenditures from the money I borrowed in a
separate "Cash" or "Other" account. How can I show that disbursement in the
"Other" account and coming from the Loan account?
