There are some shares with bogus splits in the data stream from the
new quote provider. Your first indication on download may be that a
new difference, between what your register shows and what the
broker statement shows, may appear during download processing.

To work around this, look at the split history for a stock. Go to
the investment PriceHistory. UpdatePrices-> UpdatePricesManually,
Look through the table and find the entries in the Source column
that say "Stock Split". The first split, going back in time, will
be identifiable by the quotes being suffixed with an 'S' for the
price. The first may not be the bad one.

Note the date of the bad split. It is not necessary to delete it
at this point. Click Close. Then UpdatePrices-> RecordASplit.

Record a split for the date you noted as a 1 for 1 split. Accept
that you are overwriting the existing split. That should inoculate
you to a re-download of the bad split for that date-- at least for
some versions. Let us know how that works out for you. It would be
nice if post the symbol for the stock and the date of the bad split
data.

Enter a transaction in the investment register for Activity Add Shares.
Alternately, on the Account Summary page, got to Account Update at the
bottom of the page.

Default Quantity of shares - how to change?

I have a stock that I bought 100 shares of. One year later I checked and now
I own 113.284.

Even after updating the prices, the stocks quantity Money keeps is the same.
How can I update Money to reflect this change?

Thanks!
