Money Plus trial doesn't launch

Not at all. The issue is occurring immediately after clicking "sample.mny"
or "money plus" from the 2008 Trial folder. After clicking either of those
2, there is no visual indication that MP has launched, such as a "splash" or
"welcome" screen. The only indication that MP has made any attempt to launch
is through TaskManager, which shows the "money" process has loaded 5 MB into
memory. After approximately an hour later, the process is still at about 5
MB, and there are still no visiual indications.

On a side note, the Money 2007 trial version is not having any issues
launching. The problem is soley contained to the MP trial, both with Deluxe
and Home & Small Business.

Have you tried opening up a new file - or is this an old file you are trying
to open?

It is turned off at both the software and hardware levels by modifying the
"boot.ini" file, and the result is the same. Any other suggestions?

I've tried installing both the Deluxe and Home & Small business versions, but
Money fails to launch after completing the installation. When viewed from
task manager, the "money" process stalls after loading about 5 MB worth of
data into memory. I'm running on XP, and I've installed the Money 2007 trial
version without any issues. From a previous posting involving crashes with
Money Plus Deluxe on Vista, I've tried turning on/off the Data Execution
Prevention (DEP), but there was no difference. Any ideas?
