But you've got to remember to set that "3"... removeable. Her checks had the top edge at the narrow edge of the full sheet, so the next unused check was always at the top. -- Steve B. | You would think that MS would put in a click to default to the 3-to-a-page but they don't. I wish I had the 20 cents for every sheet of checks I've botched because I forgot to set it. Thanks for the help. | I tried that, but my printer kept wanting to "singulate" (I think that's the term engineers in the paper handling domain use) the sheets no matter what I did. Or the partial sheet of checks would skew sideways going through the printer. Either way, my inkjet printer will NOT work the way Money assumes it must when the sheet is turned sideways. It shifts the sheet to one side. Money assumes it centers. Setting "3" every time and feeding the sheet/partial sheet top edge first works fine. But you've got to remember to set that "3"... Align the partial sheet of checks with the top edge of a full sheet of blank paper. Hand-feed the two pieces into the printer so that both are pulled in at the same time. (tricky) You have to manually manage your software so you don't print more checks than you feed in to keep some from printing on the blank backer page. -- Steve B. New Life Home Improvement |

| I haven't read a way here. Wish there was one--better would be a smarter routine that understood inkjet printers and feeding the checks in from the top edge regardless of number on the sheet. | Can someone tell me how to set the "How many checks on first page" option to default to "three" instead of having to manually set it each time? Thx in advance. |
