I suggest you treat it as you would a credit card payment, but in
reverse.

Here is the classic way a downloaded payment to pay off the credit
card bill would be handled:
================================================== =================
When you first process the first transaction of the credit card
payment, set the category as a transfer to the other ( credit card
or bank account), or use the equivalent "SPECIAL Credit Card
Payment" category. When you process the second transaction,Money
should match it. Be careful to not just Accept if Money did not
find the match on its own for some reason. Click Change and match
it to the transfer you already made if Money did not match it for
you. I would consider this the classic of the ways I like. Note
that for this you would *not* use the Money "EXPENSE Credit Card
Payment". I would Delete that category.

For existing transactions that are already accepted, convert one to
a
transfer and Void/Delete the other.

================================================== ==================

So in your case, if the above describes how you handle credit card
payments, change each such credit card "change" to a transfer to the
savings account. If you use some other method, it would make some
sense to mirror your method.

They must be giving you some kind of bonus to go thru this. I hope
the bonus is worthwhile. That program would not appeal to me.

Default How to track "Keep the Change" from B of A?

Hello,

I have a Bank of America checking and savings with the Keep the Change
feature, where my debit card charges are rounded up to the next dollar, with
the difference being deposited into my savings. What type of category should
I place this in?

I would just list it as a transfer, but when my accounts update online, it
places a charge on the checking and a deposit on the savings account.

What is the best way to list this to keep track of the savings properly?

Thanks for any help!
