| I have this same problem. I have turned off advertisements here: Tools -> Settings -> Program Settings -> Turn off Sponsorship and Shopping Links (check box) But now, only after updating money several months ago, I keep getting pop-ups that are Microsoft Ads for Money Plus, etc. I don't want these pop-ups when I open Money. Maybe the update broke the setting? -- sony "John" wrote: - quote - > I've never cared for them, but the pop-ups in Money have been more aggressive > lately. | Reiner, Thanks for the suggestion. I've done that for years and it seems to inoculate against the embedded ads, but not the pop-ups direct from Microsoft. I wonder if others have had a different experience. | John, I'm not sure which version of MS Money you are using but these instructions should get you in the general area to fix sponsorships: Tools -> Settings -> Program Settings -> Turn off Sponsorship and Shopping Links (check box) Good Luck "John" <John[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E55260C3-D982-4916-9831-99FEA67F71D7[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > I've never cared for them, but the pop-ups in Money have been more > aggressive > lately. | I've never cared for them, but the pop-ups in Money have been more aggressive lately. They have concerned a banking update and Money Plus. In the past, they have mostly been tax season ads for some tax program. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get rid of the recent ones. I write to ask, very respectfully, if MS provides any means to opt out of receiving such things? Is there a version of Money that perhaps costs more that I can buy which is shielded from the advertising? This seems a little raw, but would MS accept money to be removed from the ad list so that I don't see an ad every time I open Money? John |
