Gly, thanks for this. I had the same problem and because of it, I was
hesistant to move from trial to purchase. Now that your solution has fixed
the issue, I think I'll take advantage of the $10 off deal that popped up
today.

Thanks for the advice! I had already repaired my file, though after
upgrading rather than before, but deleting my budget and creating a new one
seems to have fixed the problem.

Thanks again!

Did you try a repair of your file before upgrading? If you can cope with it,
try deleting the budget in your file after upgrading (or even before), and
then repairing again. Of course, take a backup beforehand.

Default "This operation cannot be performed" error

I upgraded from Money 2006 to the trial version of Money Plus Deluxe, with
the intent to purchase it in the next couple of weeks.

Unfortunately, when it runs, I repeatedly get a pop-up message that says,
"This operation cannot be performed". And by "repeatedly", I mean tens of
times in a row. It happens with Money Plus and with Insights.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times now, including
installing as Administrator. I've also run repairs on my Money file, which
told me it fixed some records in the online table. And I've rebooted a few
times, but so far nothing has worked.

I tried logging a support request with Microsoft, but got an error message
from their webpage as well. I think it's just not my day...

Does anyone know what might be causing my problem? I'm running Money Plus
on Windows Vista Business.

Thanks!
Perry
