| Hundreds of millions of machines are out there running more or less fine without even the hardware capability to run DEP. I agree is sad, maybe even pathetic, that Money can't cope with DEP. But let's not get hyperbolic about the risk that imposes. | Okay, apparently the so-called 'solution' is to turn off DEP...and then it works? GET WITH THE PROGRAM, MICROSOFT!!! FIX IT!!! NOW!!! Thank you. Turning off DEP is not a viable option in today's world. Well, maybe if I kept the machine locked in the safe when not in use and ripped out the networking and never ever touched the internet again...... MS is nice and gives us Vista with a _working_ means of running with limited user access and still being able to get admin tasks done fairly easily, they tell us how great DEP is and push mfgrs to make hardware DEP available AND THEN THEIR OWN SOFTWARE CRASHES WHEN HARDWARE DEP IS TURNED ON? Please. I've been using Quicken 2000, tried 2007 but it requires admin privileges to run under Vista <shudder> so I try Money 2007 which looks promising so I give this new thing a try and BOOM! I guess I'll try getting my data into MS Office Accounting 2007 which (so far,) works. "John" wrote: - quote - > It doesn't work on Vista! | Do you have DEP turned on for all apps? Try turning it off for all but Windows.
