| What version were you running before the upgrade? And before that? Have you heard of Nuke The Bills? (See http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=187.) <Richard Crump> wrote in message news:2007102563413rcrump8[at]comcast.net... - quote - > I recently upgraded to Money Plus and have had a lot of problems with it > hogging my processor and running endlessly (especially when it first starts > up); are you still having this problem? |

| It's the same for me as well. Overall, several things took a long time to run or display the first time in Money Plus. Most things have improved their speed afterward but I have a few areas that seem much slower than Money 2007. | After I log into Windows, Insight is running in my task bar. If I right-click on Insight and select 'Spending Insights', the Insight process (mnyinsit.exe) pegs my processor at 50% and takes as long as 90 SECONDS just to display the Spending Insights page. Doesn't this defeat the purpose of this app? My machine is only a few months old, plenty of processor/RAM, etc., running Windows Vista Ultimate. Guess I just bought Money 2008 for the bug fixes (assuming there were any, so far I've only found reference to two tiny bug fixes that have to do with saving backup files....) |
