Hi Dick

It does become annoying after awhile. Many people never search for an
answer, just join the newsgroup and ask....

The one that bother me are the ones that demand rather than ask a question
and "slur" Microsoft and others when if they would have just "read" the
information available to them first and thought a little about it, they
would have probably had an answer before it was a concern.

Actually, M04 was out for over a month before Quicken 04 hit the shelves.
But this kind of logic never stops the question.

That is surprising that
http://www.microsoft.com/money/info/quicken.asp does not say what
versions are converted. The box says, but the text is small.

Quicken user would want to switch to Money anyway because of the learning curve
and the time involved with the conversion. If manually entering 100
transactions will stop someone from converting, it is probably best that they
don't. JMHO. Steve

I would think Microsoft could be expected to mention that
they convert through Quicken 2003 only. They don;t make
any such distinction.

I cannot convert from my older file because it's a month
old, and there are well over a hundred new transactions
since then that I don't want to fiddle with.

Thanks anyway

No. And if you come back next year and ask if Money 2005 can convert
Quicken 2005, expect the same answer.

So why not convert your Quicken 2003 file? Did you save a copy?

Default Quicken 2004 conversion

Quicken 2004 has me ready to dump Quicken and convert to
Money ... but has Money been updated to be able to
convert Quicken 2004 files?

When I downloaded the trial earlier this month, it was a
no-go.

Thanks.
