Okay I solved my own problem. I should have read help a little
closer.

Insights will remind you about bills for which you need to write a
check, make a transfer, or make a payment. It will not show
information about bills that you have set up to be paid automatically
by direct debit or automatic payment.

My upcomign bills are automatic debits.

Too bad it doesnt warn you those are coming - but I guess I get the
logic of only showing non-automatic payments in the reminders.

I tried what you suggested - I set my Money Bill Summary settings to
10 days with count only business days unchecked, and then setup Bill
insights to 11 days with Business Days unchecked.... and still no
upcoming bills are coming up in the bill insights!

This is really disappointing because I upgraded for the Bill Insights
as I had loved the Money Express feature in the past of being alerted
to upcoming bills without having to open money.

*sigh*

Any other ideas?

I believe we have a quirk here. If you match the same settings you
have in Money under Tools/Bill Settings and add one day, you'll be
synced up with the reminder in Money on the Bills page. Seems like
it's one day off via my own experimentation.

My Money Bill Setting is set for 10 days with Count only Business Days
unchecked; it currently says the payment for 2 payees must be sent
within 5 days. If I set Bill Insights to 11 days with Business Days
unchecked, I see the reminders for the same 2 payees; no more, no
less.

Default Insights for Bills not working

Hi all,

Alright I have Microsoft Plus all setup, activated, and running -
works nicely and I'm very happy.

The only issue I'm having with it function wise - is the Insights for
bills is not "working". Despite the fact I have "Enable Bill
Insights" (Remind me 10 days in advance of a due bill) checked in the
Insights settings... when I click on the bill insights tab I get the
lovely message that "You have no upcoming bills in money".

Now that would be great if it was true - but the fact is if I launch
money and go into the Bills summary section I have about 8 bills
coming due in the next 5 days.

What I find strange is that the insights for Cashflow and Spending
appear to be working just fine....but the Bills one is not.

Any ideas on why the Bills Insights would not be working?

Appreciate any help.

Incase it matters I'm using Windows Live ID credentials and microsoft
money is set to "remember" the password as I am the only one with
access to this computer.
