| Dustin, Try reseting the plan. I am not sure where it is in Plus but this is where it is in 07. Go to Tools> Settings> Planner Settings> Reset Debt Plan. <dustin.o.hartman[at]gmail.com> wrote in message news:1186712060.910106.135960[at]e9g2000prf.googlegroups.com... - quote - > I'm having an issue with the Debt Reduction planner. | I'm having an issue with the Debt Reduction planner. This happened in Money 2006, and now in 2008 as well. I have a credit card that I want to put into the debt reduction planner. I enter it, including all of the required information such as interest rate, credit line, next payment date, etc... The debt reduction plan looks right, except the 1st payment is almays $10,000+. For example, I have $16,110 in the account. I tell the debt reduction planner to pay $400 a month with no "one time" payment, $0 estimated spending, and payment frequency monthly. When I see the payment schedule, the first payment is $13,378.00 and then the rest of the payments are $400. I have tried using a "target date" instead of the monthly payment goal option, but the same thing happens. No matter what I try I can't get that first payment to be anything less than $10,000+ Any ideas? |
