| I solved the problem by making the following modifications to my Internet Options: - quote - > Advanced > Browsing
Select:- quote - > Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)
Unselect:> Disable script debugging (Other) - quote - > Display a notification about every script error

| If this were a single installation of Money, I would suggest reinstallation, but since it has occurred with multiple installations, my first instinct would be to ask about other software you have installed containing an ad-blocking component, such as Norton Internet Security which strips out what it perceives to be ad code, resulting in this type of scripting error. I would also suggest the following modifications to your Internet Options/Properties: Select: Browsing > Advanced > Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) Select: Browsing > Advanced > Disable script debugging (Other) Unselect: Browsing > Advanced > Display a notification about every script error "SolaDude" <SolaDude[at]Canada.com> wrote in message news:E82E8106-AE43-4CCA-94EF-DB12403E0C21[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > Can only offer empathy not help on this one since I have been getting > the > same error through several versions of Money. > -- > Eric Bennett > "ira" wrote: > > Everytime open the "Help" window in MS Money i get a Runtime Error. > > > "A Runtime Error has occurred. | Can only offer empathy not help on this one since I have been getting the same error through several versions of Money. -- Eric Bennett "ira" wrote: - quote - > Everytime open the "Help" window in MS Money i get a Runtime Error. > "A Runtime Error has occurred. | Everytime open the "Help" window in MS Money i get a Runtime Error. "A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to Debug? Line: 7 Error: Expected ';' " ....when i select "No" to not Debug, it opens up the help window, no problem. but every time i click on a new link inside the help window i get the same runtime error and have to click "No". it's really annoying to have to do this every single time i click on something in the help pane. |
