I also ran the update from hell. Now I get this updates/ads where as before I
did not.

I hit Dismiss and they come back. I just want to kill this thing. I'm OCD
about pop-ups and I'm furious microsoft made me update my microsoft money
just to spam me with unnecessary ads.

Does anyone know of a way to outright prevent these pop ups from ever
returning? I don't care about their updates either.

It should only come up once if you Dismiss it.
Did you click Dismiss?

If it continues to come up then there is probably something on you system
that is blocking Money from confirming the dismissal or that is "restoring"
the original installation of Money so that Money doesn't know it sent that
'critical banking update'

What version of Money? (Help - About)
What version of Internet Explorer?
Is your computer's system date set correctly to today?
What other security software do you have installed/running?
Anything unusual about your system or especially how Money starts?

I have the "critical banking update" nag screen popping up everytime i start
money. I followed all the steps and completed everything. the only thing
that
i don't have going on is the auto-signin with a passport. i don't care for
this feature, as my bank charges me to use automatic updates. they do let me
download my money file for free and that's what i do, then run it after it's
downloaded. Is there a way to disable whatever it is that keeps this screen
coming up? It's very irritating and has me considering other banking
programs.

Default nag screen for updates continues to pop up

I have the "critical banking update" nag screen popping up everytime i start
money. I followed all the steps and completed everything. the only thing that
i don't have going on is the auto-signin with a passport. i don't care for
this feature, as my bank charges me to use automatic updates. they do let me
download my money file for free and that's what i do, then run it after it's
downloaded. Is there a way to disable whatever it is that keeps this screen
coming up? It's very irritating and has me considering other banking programs.
