I had a similar problem once. Eventually, I resized everything and it
worked. I got in this problem by trying to eliminate all of the columns
associated with downloaded transactions. So now I just make them pretty
narrow. I agree it would be nice to make them go away, but I'm not going to
try that again. The reason you don't see anything about this in the
Tools|Settings is that the Money Team has convinced themselves that NOT
using downloaded transaction data is an irrelevant use case or one best left
to fools and knaves.
