When I double click on the Total Expenses for July, some of the items have $##### in the amount column. It seems these are not getting included in Total Expenses. How does the $#### get fixed so it is included in the Total Expenses. The items with $#### are Fed Tax Withheld from my two paychecks, a cash withdrawal. Bank Charges: Interest Paid (a credit card). And Loan: Mortgage Interest which is entered in the "Details" of Loan Payment: Home Mortgage (PITI). All the $### total up to a little more than Potential Savings. But June's is the same way and the $### total to $30 less than Potential Savings. The $### is when I double click the Total Expenses amount in the Monthly Report, and if I double click that item, the $ amount is correct in the register. Hmmm. I hope this isn't too confusing. Cause I am. So somehow these $#### are not getting included in totals. M04 didn't do this. It must have happened in the conversion, maybe? |

If you then pay the $100 credit card balance from the checking account you still only had $100 in expense. |

I use "Transfer" to pay them and these amounts don't show up when I click the expense amount in the Income v Expenses section of the July monthly report. So does that mean I have to pay credit cards using "Withdraw" to categorize it---then manually enter the payment in the credit card account? yuck. (I don't download my statements, just update my portfolio). If that's the case, I installed M07 7/7/07. June does the same thing. But, the rest of the monthly reports are ok, like they were in M04, it added the transferred credit card payments into the Total Expenses. Strange, no? Thanks. |

| Hi, Trying to navigate M07 is worse than the M$ site. lol. And the help is worse. My July monthly report only has one-half of the month's transactions. I did not enter some of July transactions until after 7/31, like my second paycheck of the month and bills paid 7/31. I cannot find a way to refresh it like in M04. Is there a way to refresh/update it so it includes the rest of my July transactions? Thanks. Judy |
