| I have been having this problem ever since the July update. It has made Money unusable with regard to downloading transactions. I spoke to MS support. They had me create a test file, which I did... same result. The person assisting me indicated they thought the problem was with a company that provides MS banking information for certain banks (Yodlee, maybe?), and therefore MS couldn't do anything (I gather that MS changed third-party information providers during the July update). The only option given me was to sign up for the direct access at about $4/month from Wells Fargo. The support person wasn't sure that would fix it, however. Frankly, I'm ticked off because I abaondoned Quicken for Money. I liked the way downloads and the account registers worked a little better. Then along came MS and essentially broke it, and says they can't fix it. Now I'm stuck, unless I want to shell out for the current Quicken, or give Wells Fargo $4 a month to maybe fix the issue. | The same thing has happened to me. I also use Wells Fargo and after the mid July update I am getting pending transactions along with some duplicate transactions. I called Microsoft and they said Wells Fargo was having some download issues. They also said that Wells Fargo has stopped using a third party service that feeds statement information. I called Wells Fargo and they said that Microsoft stopped allowing transactions to come through MS Live except only on a limited bases for some people (?? did not make a lot of sense ??). She said that signing up with Wells for the online banking at 3.95 / mo. might resolve the issue but not for sure... Also both of them recommended that I create a new ms money file and start all over to see if the new file would have the same problem. I have not tried this yet as it seems like a huge effort to move to a new file, import old transactions and recreate all of my accounts. The Wells checking account is the only account with this issue. If anyone has made it through this issue alive please advise.... | Ever since the update last week i'm having issues downloading my account from wells fargo. i have set money up to download transactions again.... But...... Prior to the update, money would only download transactions that have cleared, not ones that are still listed as 'pending'. i was able to then list the pendings in my account register and this would show me an accurate available balance. Now, money is downloading pending transactions as soon as they arrive, but if a charge is listed as pending for multiple days(which happens a lot) money will download this multiple times, and i am not able to show an accurate account balance. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated. |
