Yes. To work around the bug, add enough files to make the drive have
less than 2 GB empty.

Using Money 2007 I don't have a problem backing up to my hard drive, but I do
have a problem creating a secondary backup on a USB flash drive. I get a
message that my floppy disc is full, but I am using a 4 GB flash drive that
has less than 1 GB used. Any suggestions?

Probably. Search your mind for where you might have a copy on a
flash drive or CDR.

When you restore, don't restore to the default location. Instead
Browse to your MyDocuments folder and give the file a new name.
Maybe that will help. It won't hurt.

Start-> Search your hard drive(s) for *.mbf, *.mny. See if you can
find something in the date range from before the problems started.

I am sure you will be planning your backup strategy going forward.
Money 2007 will keep 4 backups by default, but I like to increase
that number.

Also, don't forget that hard drives can fail. USB flash drives tend
to be more reliable than many backup media.

Default Restoring backup money files

I have to restore my hard drive. When I opened MYmoney none of my data was
there (oh god my checkbook is gone for the last sevreal years). I then
attempted to restore the backup and somehow I did the no-no.....I somehow
backup a blank money file with the same name as the existing file and
apparently overwrote that file and lose the data that I think was originally
backup file..Is all my original money date gone? there is two money backup
files dated a few days ago attempted to use them and was told wrong
path;overwrite proceted (its not) etc......HELP
