I was answering the original post : I have setup my online accoutns (B of A
(CA) and WAMU) to download transcation directly into MS MOney.
[I do not use BillPAy I use Direct Debit so this feature is redundant for me.]

Thanks -- didn't realize it was available with Money. It isn't, if you
select B of A (CA); to get it, for some reason you need to select B of A
(All except WA, ID, & CA). I got as far as the 'if you switch, it won't
work with Quicken anymore' screen. Hmmm... just when I though Quicken was
better Guess I'll take another look when Money 08 comes out in the next
few weeks...

"BillPay" is only available via BofA's OFX direct connection
Do you have your "special" credentials to sign in? Have you set up services
with BofA? I believe they charge $9.95 per month unless you have certain
types of accounts.

So when you set up the account in Money be sure to say that you do have the
"special credentials"

Got what to work? By 'direct connect' do you mean transaction downloading?
Are you able to access B of A Billpay via Money?

I HAVE GOT IT TO WORK!!! It took me a dya of trying (kept getting "try
later" messages) but it now works with direct connect. I basically did what
someone else suggested on this forum and set up a BRAND NEW account from the
Home page on MS Money and then merged them. Each time I got the "try later"
I deleted the account entry (did not use the link in the manage online
services to retry) and started again.
It now works...this is contrary to what MS and the banks say, but it
wrks!..,.go figure!

Free with direct-deposit, $9.95 without. They also have some minimum
balance type accounts where it's available for free as well.

How much does B of A charge for connection through Quicken, and is it
avoidable?

With Money, they both work with transaction downloading only, no direct
connection. B of A (CA) has Direct Connect with Quicken, complete with B of
A's Billpay (which is actually Checkfree) -- it's fully integrated with
Quicken, you can initiate bill payments from within the program, or at the B
of A website -- regardless, it all winds up in the same place. WaMu, like
with Money, supports transaction downloading to Quicken but not Direct
Connect or Billpay.

I am in the same position.
WAMU and B of A (CA) are listed as being supported when they have both told
me they are not.

I can confirm this, several of my account have stoped working when the whole
estamp/security image changes took place some months ago on may sites and
still don't work even though they are listed on the site below as supported
FI.

When you contact the bank/credit card company they say its not there problem
and they cannot do anything. I quit trying to fix it for a few months and
saw the pop up when I logged tonight and had some hope, but was quickly
dissapointed.

Not me, but yes. There are several people posting that.

Check to see if your FI is still on the list at
http://www.microsoft.com/money/bankonline.aspx . Some institutions
that were covered before are not now. There could be some re-growing
of the list later, but it probably will not be fast.

Default Money updates- manage online services

I have gotten to the step of re-setting up my accounts after the updates but
have not been able to actually set them up. I have tried for 3 days at
different times and to no avail. Is there a tip out there or is anyone else
having this problem?
