Here's another one they left behind: Seven-Seventeen Credit Union (OH). Way
to lose another customer, Microsoft. Gotta love the fact that they don't
even mention the fact that some financial institutions would no longer be
supported. What are they, the CIA? All cloak and dagger, no truth in
advertising. I've already switched to Mozilla Firefox and am considering
Google's office suite. Quite frankly I'm glad they got slapped with a fine
of over 1/2 billion dollars by the European block. That's gotta be close to
the number of people they've left frustrated with crap like this.

I'm not the biggest cheerleader in this NG, but this seems like a leap. How
could they ever change anything if the criteria is always leave no user
behind?

Have you checked out GnuCash for Windows? If you do--I haven't had the
chance--please let us know how it goes.

It is just microsoft showing their utter lack of caring about their customers
again. I am finding a couple of open source solutions that seem to work.
Looks like I am leaving another product of microsoft behind. Later.

My reply to a similar question:

It's a function of Microsoft moving all services to third party online
services Yodlee, from a combination of Yodlee and CashEdge. Yodlee
does not connect to all of the financial providers that CashEdge
connected to*. I don't know why Yodlee does or does not connect to a
particular bank, but the list may change.

*It's probably true that CashEdge did not connect to all of the
providers Yodlee connects to, but Yodlee's what you're left with.

Default Problems after Online Banking Update

After the recent online banking update, I am unable to use several of my
accounts with online banking. As instructed after the update, I disabled
online services to several accounts and then tried to set them up again.
Alas, but many accounts that used to be available are now gone! My primary
bank accounts (at Bank of America Military Bank), as well as Dell Financial
Services, and Best Buy don't even show up anymore! I can't re-enable online
services to these accounts because they no longer appear in the institution
list during setup.

Is MS Money working on the issue, or did they just arbitrarily stop offering
online services with several major institutions? Does anyone have any
suggestions? Can I revert to the earlier, pre-upgraded online services where
all my accounts integrated just fine? Any assistance would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,
SNAFU42
