I see. I download the Emigrant Direct statements into Money by logging
into their site once a month and downloading - I have to log in to pay
my bill so it's not a big deal anyway.

Btw the bank for this card was Juniper which was bought up by
Barklay's(sp?) so maybe the tighet integration into money is/will be there.

Unfortunately for me, Emigrant Direct is not listed as an online
provider for Money. 1.4% overall may (or may not) net slightly higher
than the 3% on gas, groceries and quick service food + 1% on all else,
offered by Chase, but the nominal difference for my spending habits
doesn't justify the loss of service.

Emigrant Direct's Mastercard gives 1.40% percent back on all purchases
if you keep a balance of 10k in their online savings account (current
apy 5.05)

I'm happy with a Chase Freedom Card.

If you're willing to work the system, you can optimize it by having
one card for gas, use another card for general purchases up to the
monthly or annual reward max, then switch to another until that's
maxed, etc. Personally, I'm not willing to go to that much trouble.

Default Which credit card gives the best rewards ?

Which credit card gives the best rewards ?

I have had a Capital One (US) visa card for many years. I always pay
my visa bill on time.

I am fed up of them. In the last 2 months they have stopped 6
transactions. When I call them they claim they suspected a fraudulent
person was using the card.
Even though I have always used my card to pay companies like State
Farm...their computers flagged it as fraud. I cannot depend on them.
They will probably not be there when I really need them. They are too
unreliable for me.

Anyway, I want a new credit card ?
Can any one recommend a credit card that offers real good benefits
like free airline miles, money back etc. and good customer service ?

Thanks

Ayesha Hill
