I would then look at the second (and generally larger) *rs.txt file with a text editor. See if the word "ERROR" occurs. That would be part of an indication from the bank's server during the process. - quote - > Jimmy Sledge > > > I found this:http://www.regions.com/virtualDocume...eyCon.pdfwhich > > describes some recent changes at Regions with respect to Microsoft > > Money. > > > I see that Regions is listed as having two ways to access it. | Hello, Since Microsoft's update to Money AND the merger of my bank with another bank 1 week ago, I have been unable to create/submit new electronic payments to my bank. My problem is trying to figure out if its the update or the merger that happened at nearly the same time that is causing the problem. Reaching my bank has been very problematic since the money updates and the merger. It would seem there is a large number of people having issues. The error message I am receiving when trying to submit new payments is paraphrased below: __________________________________________________ ___ Your transaction was not processed for the the following reason: Your request to pay XXX to XXXX on Friday, August 3, 2007 was not processed. If you see this message again, contact your bank or brokerage. More details: A general error has occurred. __________________________________________________ ___ This sounds like a bank problem to me, but I'm asking the group for their opinion. To resolve this, I have tried to repair the money file. I have also tried to create a new money file as a test and submit a payment from the new file. I've also reinstalled Money. I CAN however update all my accounts. The Regions bank account that I am having the problem submitting new electronic payments as well as credit card accounts. Any ideas? Thanks Jimmy Sledge |
