You don't mention which version of Money you are using. In M2004 the asset
allocation function didn't work well at all. By M2007 it was mostly working.

In 'details' for the investment

Be aware that the asset allocation tool is different from asset
allocation displayed in other parts of Money. The tool permits
assignment to only one class, and the list of choices is short.

Default asset allocation

I have several funds that I have with Principal Financial Group - most are
'proprietary' (not sure what the right word is) and there is no ready-to-use
ticker symbol to plug into Money. How do I get the asset allocation for each
fund and then where do I update it in Money so that my "asset allocation
analysis" is more correct?
