| I got the same pop-up and clicking on it produced an error saying I needed a browser (which I already have obviously). That pop-up had a button to send an error report, but clicking there produced another pop-up error saying there was no program associated with it. I would copy and paste the exact messages but Windows does not allow me to select any of the text. I tried to contact Microsoft about the problem but one of the ActiveX controls on their website crashed my PC, so my message might not get through. The bugs could indicate either hackers or Microsoft, but based on the fact that one of the bug- ridden pop-ups advertised MSN I'm guessing genuine Microsoft. |

| Hello everyone: Is this warning from Microsoft genuine? I use MS Money06. Today when I started the program I got a warning message Dialogue Box with a title from MS Money stating that there is a serious and critical banking update for Money and asking to click on a tab to receive instructions about how to upgrade. I know that money updates are automatic and I have never before have had a situation like this. Therefore I am suspecting if this is a genuine message from MS. Has anyone seen one or has info on this? Tthanx! |
