Default Re: Money 2006- Bank Sign-in info

Yes, I did as suggested, although I had done it before. The problem comes
when I was asked to provide the new 6 to 8 digit password. When I established
the new password, I wrote it down and so did my associate on a separate list.
The problem came when we attempted to use the new password.

WHOA! I apologize. I just went back and tried again. The problem was with
the dashes in the social security number not the password. I forgot Downey
hates dashes and when Money furnished the social security number with dashes,
I failed to remove them.

Money is now working beautifully. Thanks for your help.

Al,

You have to provide more information than just "the bank".
For starters. What bank? What version of Money?

Default Money 2006- Bank Sign-in info

Before I followed the necessary procedure to get the special sign-in info I
tried, three or four times, to use a password I thought would work. None of
them worked so I followed the instructions and got a password from the bank
that was to enable me to download transactions from the Bank into Money 2006.
This password would not work. I believe my early messing around caused me to
be locked out. When I reapplied to the bank for a new password, their website
said I didn't need one. Does anyone have any ideas?
