| It may also be a matter of not having unique transaction IDs. For example, if Money already imported transactions with that ID, it will assume that a new transaction with the same ID is not actually "new" -Mark "frank" <franksr[at]shaw.ca> wrote in message news:vNQmi.123378$NV3.90513[at]pd7urf2no... - quote - > "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message > news:3elf93t5flsgccqk3n86v6pfba2ohcurli[at]4ax.com... > > In microsoft.public.money, frank wrote: > > > > > Disconnecting and reconnecting didn't work for the correct finiacial > > > institution.... Any help much appreciated. In Internet Explorer delete your browser temporary files with Tools-> InternetOptions-> DeleteFiles or Tools-> InternetOptions-> Delete-> DeleteFiles. Then in Money do File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair again. Then go to Tools-> Settings-> OnlineServiceSetting and select ShowStandardizedPayeeNamesForWhichANameIsNotFound. This is a global (inter-file) setting. Download again. |

| I have not seen that problem. Couple of basic questions: 1) Is the account register an essential account or advanced? 2) Does switching the view change anything? 3) Have you tried a backup from much earlier than before the problem appeared? 4) Do the transactions appear if you pull up a transaction report for that account over the appropriate dates? 5) Sometimes, disconnecting the account from online services and then reconnecting it to online services does some magic. Have you tried that? Other than that, I don't have much for you. Good Luck. | Hello, After downloading a statement from my finacial institution to MS Money 2005, the account list screen shows that I have "Transactions to read: 34" but when I go to review them, there are no transactions in the account register. The account balance shows the correct value so I know there is something there but I cannot view them. I have tried all of the following with no success: 1. Repaired the money file 2. Downloaded the statement to another account to see if there was a problem with the target account. 3. Selected "Read Statement" for the account in the account list screen. 4. Deleted the statement and downloaded again. 5. Updated to Money 2007 6. Restored from a backup file dating to before the problem appeared. To visually examine the transactions, I downloaded the transactions as a csv file and they look ok (valid acct #, date, amount, category). I have successfully downloaded statements for years without a problem until now. Has anyone seen or fixed this problem before? Any help much appreciated. Frank |
