I did not go back too far in the knowledge base because I am not
use to it and the problem perplexed me so. I was about to follow a guess of
changing the spin off dates since I ran out of any other leads.I also saw and
used for the first time THE PUBLIC COMMUNITY idea and that clenched it.If you
use 6/28/2007 it does not work. 7/1/does work.THANKS!!!!
I used this MSMoney since 1996 and even with problems it has gotten
better each year.I worked at the biggest post office in the world and when I
needed help somebody there usually could step in.Now I am retired and it is
harder.I still like MSMoney and think it is the best you can have. Two
spinoffs on the same day is not very likely and then the REVERSE split. Not
everyday sort of stuff right?I hope tyc turns around w cov and
tel, right!Such is the stock market and life.Thank You.

That should be
5. Enter the 1 for 4 split dated 2 July.

1. Undo the reverse split if it is entered already.
To undo the split,
UpdatePrices-> UpdatePricesManually Look through the
table and find the entry in the Source column that say "Stock
Split". Delete the entry.

2. I would spin off Tyco Electronics(TEL) [29.23%] on 1 July .

3. Then on 2 July I would spin from TYC remaining 70.9700% of the
original again with 45.0190% going to COV and 54.9810% of the TYC
remaining with TYC.

4. To compensate for a bug in Money 2007, enter one or two deposits
into the Cash Transactions register to offset the cash remove by the
two Buy transactions that were generated.

5. Enter the 4 for 1 split dated 2 July.

The reason for undoing the split first is that Money may use the
post-split values otherwise.

into my investments.I had 600 sh of tyc and expect to find 150 each COV and
TEL.Any help appreciated.
