| Check the scheduled bill to see whether it says 'calculated' in the entries for principal and interest payments first. If there are values in there, then it will always use them. To get the 'calculated' entry back, you can follow http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/76.aspx. I'd make a backup before you start any of this Once they are back, then you might be able to change the bill to run from the month that things started going wrong, and then re-enter the bills (make sure you delete the incorrect records first). However, because of the nature of the loan tool in Money, you might not be able to do this beyond the start of the year, so a change on your PC clock back to the year things started going wrong may be in order too (not recommended on trial versions!). -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money http://money.mvps.org See http://money.mvps.org/faq/default.aspx for tips and fixes for MS Money. | Is there a way to force Money to recalculate the ammortization schedule. On one of my loans it somehow quit adjusting the principle and interest ammounts. Now it shows the entire payment is principal and then has even more for interest, which causes it to have some unassigned. HOw do I force it to recalculate. It started this on payment 12 of a 60 payment loan. I am not at payment 45 so most of them are wrong. |
