Maybe you have a suitable backup you could restore from rather than> I am not quite clear where the "accept" step took place. Do you see transactions in bold, indicating they have not yet beenaccepted. |

I am not quite clear where the "accept" step took place. I installed money, put in my accounts information, downloaded transactions goin back 3 months, then immediately ran into this issue as described at my first access of my accounts. I will start from scratch again and see if I missed a step somewhere. |

Since you are already past that this time, convert the first half to> Discover Card Credit Card" in my Bank Account transaction list, I can find no > way to tell money to "match the indentical transation in my Discover Card > account transactions." The SPECIAL CreditCardPayment should work the same, but I use Transfer. - quote - > "Automatically accept all downloaded transactions from banking statements" > is NOT checked. |

I do this. Following the method you suggest creates a duplicate transaction> should match it. That is the problem I am having, Money is not matching the transactions when in both accounts, at no time am I given or can I find an option to "match" with an existing transaction. - quote - > Be careful to not just Accept if Money did not
Where can I find the "Change" option or "match" option that will allow me to> find the match on its own for some reason. Click Change and match > it to the transfer you already made if Money did not match it for > you. match transactions up? I just don't see these options anywhere. |

When you process the second transaction,Money should match it. Be careful to not just Accept if Money did not find the match on its own for some reason. Click Change and match it to the transfer you already made if Money did not match it for you. I would consider this the classic of the ways I like. Note that for this you would *not* use the Money "EXPENSE Credit Card Payment". I would Delete that category. |

| Money 2007 Deluxe I automatically download both my bank and credit card transactions. How do I get MONEY to recognize that the "credit card payment" transaction on my bank account matches the identical but opposite "credit" transaction on my credit card account? When I change the downloaded transaction type to "Credit Card Payment : Discover Card Credit Card" in my Bank Account transaction list, I can find no way to tell money to "match the indentical transation in my Discover Card account transactions." Instead, MONEY creates a "new" and duplicate "credit" transaction on my Discover Card transaction list. "Automatically accept all downloaded transactions from banking statements" is NOT checked. |
