Start-> > ControlPanel-> FolderOptions-> There is no option for File Types. The only option for File Types I have been able to locate is under Start -> Control Panel-> Default Programs -> Set Associations which only allows you to select the program associated with the .OFX extension, but there doesn't appear to be a way edit the settings as mentioned in the solution provided. Any Suggestions? |

Click Advanced. Check Confirm Open After Download unless you would not like the pop-up box. See that the "Actions" box contains "Open" in bold. If it is not bold, you can select Open as the default action by clicking the Set Default button. Click Edit. When you click edit, the application used to perform action should be similar to the following line: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money 2007\MNYCoreFiles\mnyimprt.exe" %1 WITH the quotes, and the %1 after the quote. The path will differ based on your installation. Modify for your setup. Application should be mnyimprt with the appropriate path. The easy way to fix this may be to reinstall Money. |

| Environment: -Windows Vista 32 -Money 2007 Problem: If Microsoft Money 2007 is open and statement is downloaded from the Bank Website, the Import Dialogue Box does not launch. In order to get the Import to complete, I have to exit the Money 2007 and relaunch money in order to get the import to finish. Solution Attempted but did not solve the problem: -Ran a repair on the Money file in question. |
