I would not have expected the problem. You could try salv.exe level
2 to try to make a repaired version of the file.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919524/en-us talks about converting
a Money 2002 file, but the method may be useful to you.

If you decide to install the temporary Money 2004 trial, you might
want to do the conversion on a different computer so that you don't
need to uninstall Money 2007 in the process.

When you get the file open, I would remove any Passport.

Default Opening archive

My operating system is Windows Vista. I'm using Microsoft Money 2007
Home and Business. I previously used Microsoft Money 2003 Deluxe and
Business.

Here's the problem: I tried opening an archive from the year 2002 and I
receive a message that the file cannot be opened. The file was archived
using MS Money 2003.

What do I need to do to be able to use my archives made in MSM v2003 in
MSM v2007?

Thanks!
Kay
