At the very least, the MOney program manager at MS should be forced to use his own product. If this fails, shoot him/her. But being the optimist, I "can't wait" for Money 2008 to move the project forward. |

| We tried that with M05. It seems to have made little difference. Also, at some point, we should consider the likelihood that Microsoft will realize that the mistake they made was ever trying to get into the personal financial management software business in the first place. | If by backwards support you mean being able to read, say, a M2007 file in a previous version such as M2004, then this has never ever been there that I can recall. Re PDA support see http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/473.aspx -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. I do not respond to any emails that I have not specifically asked for. | -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Thank you Art. It worked like a dream. I am so disipointed in Money 2007. No PDA support , no backwards support. I looked at Quicken and compared to MS Money it is so expensive. My only hope is that no one gets 2007 and Microsoft realizes the mistakes they made. | When you upgraded from Money06 to Money07 Money 07 created a file with your filename.M15 in your Money directory. This file is your Money06 file prior to the upgrade. You would then rename it to .MNY to be used by Money06. You however will have lost any inputs since the upgrade. The alternative method is to export all of your accounts from within the Money07 file and then import them into Money06. This is very tedious and has lots of potential problems. | Hi. Unfortunately, unless you saved your Money 2006 files as a Money 2006 file, before the upgrade, and before the Money 2007 automatically modifies and updates your files, I do not think you will be able to convert Money 2007 files back to Money 2006 files. Sorry.
