Default RE: MS Money 2007 and Money for Pocket PC

I too was very disappointed without the Pocket PC availability after
"upgrading" to MS Money 2007. I waited patiently for it to become available.
Time to look at Quicken from the looks of things.

I've been cheap from the get-go so I'll offer another FREE alternative
that has been working for me for a couple of months now (just a bit
longer than I've been full-timing the PPC).
Try HandyShopper. Then join the HS group on Yahoo. There, in the
Files or Database sections, someone loaded a database that acts like a
checkbook. I had to refer back to the Author's Usage Notes a couple
of times to start but now I use it like its been with me forever. The
only problem for me is the database is not secure, although I do have
the PPC password protected.

The last time I tried using Cash Organizer, it corrupted some bills when you
alter some of the instances of a bill. It had issues synchronizing with the
bills. Of course Microsoft Money for Windows Mobile had issues with keeping
stuff updated anyway. I just started using Microsoft Excel Mobile on my
Pocket PC and of course it works pretty good, but I have to do double entry,
better that than having problems that you can't track down with the
synchronization when it goes deleting things that it should not delete.

I'm not in the least bit surprised. I saw it coming in 2002
when Microsoft dropped money support for the handheld
platform (HP680).

It was at that time i switched to Quicken.

Until I sold the 680 I was forever stuck with Money 2000.

Inesoft Cash Organizer syncs with MS Money 2007 quite well. It has some very
nice features also ... worth the money.

Give Quicken07 a test drive, I did and discovered they've fixed it up a
ton -- much better than it used to be; and I now like it better than
Money -- after 1 day of Pocket Quicken, I've found that if I were to ever
use Money again, it would have to include WM sync functionality no matter
what else it does...

How can Microsoft be so stupid as to drop Money for Pocket PC?

Check out the MS Money product page: http://www.microsoft.com/money --
you're right, they dropped Money-sync quite some time ago. Quicken has it
though, and as of today for WM Smartphones as well. There's a 3rd party app
that'll sync your PPC with Money -- look through the postings here, or
search Handango...

I just download the Trial version of MS Money Deluxe 2007 and suddenly find
nothing that allows me to use it on my Pocket PC. Am I missing something?
Or has Microsoft decided to drop Money for Pocket PC starting with 2007?

Thanks
