Restoring a backup is how you restore things in Money. Be glad thatyou found the motivation for backups this way rather than for something more problematic. In figuring your backup strategy, don't forget that drives can fail. You should be able to reconcile your account with reality by hand this time. You could mark things that are marked Reconciled that should not be as not-reconciled. Ctrl+Shift+M toggles the R state. You could mark things that are marked Cleared that should not be as not-cleared. Ctrl+M toggles the C state. When done, the balance of everything marked cleared should match your statement balance. Then you can mark those items Reconciled. You could un-reconcile everything that was included in the statement you are balancing to or later, and then do the balancing process. And keep an extra backup of your file before trying this in case you want to undo something. - quote - > "John Barnes" wrote: > > Restore a backup file if one is available from before your problem. | Restore a backup file if one is available from before your problem. Money 2007 has several days files available, but other versions are iffy. The easy way is File-> Restore. If you don't have a suitable backup,> have balanced and start over. I just want to restore it to before I did that, > but can't figuer out how. then re-think your backup strategy. |

| I balanced my account and now it is totally f'd up. How can I undo what I have balanced and start over. I just want to restore it to before I did that, but can't figuer out how. |
