Yes. Money uses the Windows settings.> is in yyyy/mm/dd and 2006 is dd/mm/yyyy. We have searched help in both > versions and cannot find how to change the date format. Any ideas?? Close Money. Start-> Settings-> ControlPanel-> RegionalAndLanguageOptions. Change the short date with Customize-> Date, or change the region to one with the desired date format. Open Money. File-> Export or File-> Import as desired. Once you have imported to get the dates as you want them, you can close Money and change the Windows settings to what you want to use normally. Keep extra copies of your Money files in case you don't like the results of something. - quote - > Also, the site you suggested gave us the process we originally followed. > The directions seemed to work, but the result was incomplete as stated in our > original note. |

| Thank you for the possible solution - the date formats are different - 2000 is in yyyy/mm/dd and 2006 is dd/mm/yyyy. We have searched help in both versions and cannot find how to change the date format. Any ideas?? Also, the site you suggested gave us the process we originally followed. The directions seemed to work, but the result was incomplete as stated in our original note. -- leahn "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, leahn wrote: > > I'm importing data from Money 2000 into 2006 and the dates and quantities of > > investment transactions are not transferred. | I'm importing data from Money 2000 into 2006 and the dates and quantities of investment transactions are not transferred. I exported multiple accounts within a file with File/Export and changed the file names to reflect the account names (with .qif after them) to a removable flash drive. Followed import instructions (File/Import), set up multiple accounts and moved them as a group. The transfer appeared to be successful except date and quantities were not present. Any ideas? -- leahn |
