So what it would involve is to disable online access to the account
you want to keep. That would probably also disable online access to
the others.

Blank the financial institution for all but one account in the
Account Settings. The account you want to keep would probably be the
one with the oldest transactions. Set that one account for online
access again. If a new accounts are created, merge the one you kept
with the appropriate new one. If there is an unwanted account
created, Close that account.

The left over accounts that have the institution blanked out could
be looked at, or even used to do a QIF export. But that's getting
even more complex.

Keep an extra copy/backup of your file in case you want to undo
something.

Money did change the account number on one of the accounts but, otherwise,
everything is the same except for the starting amounts, and what was
previously entered/downloaded in each. Regarding which Money program I am
using, it is Money '07 Deluxe.

Are you using Money 2007 Deluxe?

Do each of those accounts show the same Financial Institution and
Account number? To see those, right-click the name of the account on
the accounts list. Choose SeeAccountSettings.

I originally setup an online acct. for my Shell credit card but for some
unknown reason Money 2007 setup another, which I simply closed. But, it just
setup a 3rd online acct. and now I can't delete the additional 2 accounts
without losing all the data in all three accounts. Also, since all three
account are online--none started manually--I can't seem to merge them. Can
somebody PLEASE give me some suggestions without a lot of techy talk!
