What I have to do is save the file to my pc, then I can click and open it
into Money (this is before any matching of transactions occurs).

Another site which I use will let me open the file straight into Money
without having to download and save the file first.

Some activity is in process, either the one you initiated or another one
Money piggy-backed on your request. Money does some auto-processing on
imported files, trying to match the file transactions to existing Money
transactions. It doesn't let you make any transactions until it's finished.
