Mine are using the processing date even though I do not have that box
checked. I would really like for my transactions to show in the record on
the payment date rather than the processing date.

I do have the box checked for enter transaction in register with processing
date.

I enter transaction 2 ways in Money. I have bills setup in the bill pay
section (show as Epay) and all I have to do is tell Money to pay it. I also
pay through Money by telling the bank on an individual basis to pay a bill
that I enter at that time.

Thanks, Neil, for your response. Do you have the option checked to "enter
transactions in register with their processing date"? What do you mean by
"not epay"? When I say "Epay", I mean entering it directly through the Money
software. Sorry if I'm using the wrong terminology.

I am using Wachovia bill pay. When I ask for a bill to be paid thru Money
2007 deluxe (not Epay), the date that shows in the transaction immediately
when I enter the bill pay is always a few days before I asked is to be paid.

I use Wachovia. I contacted them a while back and they said that they don't
have anything to do with it. They pointed me to the checkbox in the options,
and that was their only idea. They stated that funds are not deducted until
the check clears.

Which bank are you experiencing this with? I have been using 2006 with
Netbank and experienced the same thing. They do not deduct the money from
the account until the payment clears/is paid but the transaction would
download into my register as an entry several days before the due date but
was uneditable. Quite annoying, although I like the fact that the money is
deducted when the payment actually occurs rather than several days in
advance.

Default Epay processing date

I am using Money 2006 Deluxe. I have been using MS Money for over 10 years,
so I know my way around pretty well.

For the past six months or so, my Epay transactions have been setting the
date to the processing date rather than the payment date in my register. I
do NOT have the check box checked that says "Enter electronic payments in the
register with the processing date". My bank does not debit my account until
the check clears, so this really messes up my organization. Any idea why it
is doing this? Will upgrading to 2007 version fix it?

Thanks for your help.
