Default Re: Money 2000 Upgrade

"export/import it into any later versions of Money"? No. Generally, within
known parameters and constraints? Yes. Please note that "Export/Import" is
NOT the right path. This is accomplished with File|Open from the new version
of the back-level file. Money will recognize the back-level file and walk
you through the file upgrade process.

Examples:

- Money Essentials won't upgrade anything.
- Certain old versions (can't remember which side of the line M2K falls on)
require intermediate upgrades to get to M06/7. There is a way supported by
Microsoft to achieve this.
- You can't cross localization of versions. I.e., M2K for UK will not
upgrade to Manything for US.
- Some files with various pre-existing corruption problems have problems
upgrading from time to time. There are usually steps to resolve.
