I think you should look into Cindy Conover's suggestion about the category maybe coming in from the credit card company. I have not heard of that, but I had not seen your symptom either. Do you have direct OFX statements from your credit card, or are they web or "third party" accessed? | Re: Mismatched categories Is this account a credit card? Some of my categories are assigned by the card company. for example, my Target card assigned the category health care to the payee Muscatine Health Center even though it was not health care but swimming pool reservation. Look at your card account on their website and see if they have assigned the category if at all possible. I just downloaded my enw statement and it still automatically assign every single "walgreens" charge to "healthcare"! and i dont click accept beforehand! | Mismatched categories I use a nearby walgreens as a "corner store" but never for medication. However, everytime i enter "walgreens" as a payee (usually as a downloaded statement) i always get walgreens assigned as "healthcare". Since i use it always as "personal care", i have to click an reassign the category every time walgreens come up. Is there a way for me to permanently assign "walgreens" into the "personal care" category instead of the "healthcare" category? |
