I have the exact same problem. I haven't been able to get past it yet
either, and have tried all the things you tried as well.

I downloaded Money Premium 2007 to install on Vista Ultimate, 64 bit. When
running the downloaded executable I get a loading... dialog box. After a
second or two an unhandled exception occurs - 'Microsoft Money 2007 Premium
Setup has stopped working...'

Clicking the debug button show a 'Just-In-Time Debugging' dialog - An
exception 'Unhandled Win32 Exception' has occurred in Stp6F0F_TMP.EXE.
However, a debugger that cannot handle the exception type is already
attached to the process.'

I have tried running as administrator with the same results, and setting
application compatibility for the executable to Windows XP sp2.

The same downloaded installer works OK booted to Windows XP.

I've seen other posts describing that it's possible to install Money under
Vista 64 bit. Does anyone have any suggestions?
