| Thank you. I am further foward than I was yesterday. I have all my data, downloads seem to have happened so I can now get reports, the only thing I see that is wrong is that MS Money says I have trial version despite having purchased 2006 version. Any ideas? Thanks "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Geraldine wrote: > > I am trying to reload Money 2006 onto a new laptop with Windows Vista. Please help you will have full privileges to, such as Documents/MyDocuments. If they are in a place like ProgramFiles, Vista will create an impermanent copy of the file for the user to use, unless the user explicitly right-clicks at launch and choose RunAsAdminsistrator that time. Make sure you are prepared to reinstall. If you purchased Money via download, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/889930/ . If you have the retail disk, have it handy. Reinstall Money by running the setup by right-clicking the setup icon and choose RunAsAdmistrator. Check that the SSL2 protocol is enabled. That checkbox may be in IE Tools-> InternetOptions-> Advanced. Right-click the Money icon and choose RunAsAdmistrator to let any available update happen. Then reboot the computer. |
