Thanks, I think I can handel that.

I was just hoping that perhaps the small business version would have
pulgged this rather glaring hole by now.

Yo Microsoft! You know I would be willing to purchase TWO copies of
Money if they would work together. That's TWICE as much money for you
and as I understand it, you like money.

One thing that one might be able to do is create a "wrapper" script to
invoke Money and have it check for absence of the .LRD file as a
precondition to calling Money with a parameter of the given data file. IF
you always invoked Money through this wrapper on any machine on the net
trying to open a protected file--one allowed for multi-client access--you
could probably make this work--this probably takes changing file
associations to assure that a .MNY file, double-clicked, invokes the script
for reliability's sake. Somebody who doesn't know what a wrapper script is
nor how to create one should probably avoid trying this approach.

There has been no change. Money is definitely designed as a single user app.
If you are 110% disciplined you might get away with running it across a
network, but the risk of file corruption is considerable and it is not
recommended.

Default Multiuser money revisited

I am curious to know if there has been any progress towards making
Money multi-user. My wife and I have separate PC's and would like to
be able to use money to jointly manage our money.

If the standard versions of money still cannot do this, would the
small business version be able to?

Thanks for any updates.
